Did Sin Cara Get Injured at Survivor Series?

A Sin Cara injury happened at WWE Survivor Series pay per view 2011. WWE is reporting that it is a ruptured patellar tendon and that he might be out for 6 to 9 months.

The injury occurred before 4 minutes into the tag team match that he was in. He went to do a dive out of the ring onto Hunico. Cara looked like something gave out and the dive went short and he missed. He was then there ringside in pain and got counted out of the match.

It appears that real damage was done and no faking is going on here. With World Wrestling Entertainment announcing that he will be out for months and with him leaving a ppv match so early, it really looks like the answer to "Did Sin Cara Get Injured at Survivor Series?" would be "yes."

Hopefully he can heal strongly and come back soon. He was starting to gain momentum and many were taking a liking to him. It is said that merchandise sales of his mask and such have been doing good, so we know that WWE likes this. Probably many children like him because of the high flying and his mask and outfit.

We are not sure how long Sin Cara will be out or when will Sin Cara be back or return. The fans will be waiting, though.

It will be interesting to see what Hunico ends up doing and how he gets used. Maybe he will get featured more or maybe the creative team will not know what to do with him now if they were going to keep featuring him in storylines with the man formerly known as Mistico.

Pro wrestling is always unpredictable and dangerous. High flying type moves can be especially, but in this case the guy performing them seemed like something just gave out in an awkward way. What we are saying is that in this case it is not like someone broke a bone due to landing from an acrobatic dive or a thing like that.

In some other news, CM Punk is the new WWE Champ after besting Alberto Del Rio. The Rock and John Cena defeated The Miz and R-Truth. Fans in attendance were happy to see Punk win and glad to see the Rock once again in the ring.

What we are going to mention here may be common sense for most, but we will talk about it anyways. This mostly has to do with safety.

You can read about and see examples of holds and such on a computer screen, but what is still of the utmost importance is getting properly trained in person. Whether amateur, school, professional wrestling or whatever the style - there is always a certain level of danger especially if people don't know what they are doing.

That is why we urge people to get coached to be able to understand all the details and such that are needed. For people looking to get involved in the pros, there are wrestling schools that will teach everything one needs to know.

From how to take bumps and how to take care of your opponent to keep things as safe as possible - these are all things that the students learn.

Many peeps have big dreams and want to be the next big WWE star. Everybody has to start somewhere and everybody should start in the proper way.

With this said, the internet can still be a valuable tool for info on wrestling moves how to. People can brush up on the detail and style of moves and also look at new ones that are being performed. The basics learned from the teachings of qualified trainers are the basic platform that is first needed for those looking to actually get into the sport.

It used to be a very secretive club to get involved. Many performers were able to get in because of their family histories. Now is different though, and it is easier than ever to properly be taught the basics and more.

We wish everyone good luck looking to get into the sport as a hobby or even a career. It is not for most, but some will have what it takes to go far in it.

We received an email with the cryptic message inside of "Sin Cara Ohne Mask?" We figured out that this is German for "Sin Cara Without Mask?" For anyone that hasn't seen it, click that link to see our post that has pictures of the WWE wrestler's face.

It is interesting that pro wrestling is such a global sport. The popularity of it knows no bounds. Of course the guy in question is from Mexico, and then people in Germany and many other countries want to see what he looks like and to learn more details about him.

The athletes with their head's covered is of course a major part of Mexican lucha libre, but it also has a place in the United States, Japan, and all over planet earth.

The luchadore formerly known as Mistico was and still is very famous in his homeland, but it is amazing to think that those in all these different countries are curious about him.

WHY ARE THERE TWO SIN CARAS?

This is a question many are wondering. The fact is that the original had to take a bit of time off and then World Wrestling Entertainment had another guy wearing the same costume.

Now you have probably noticed that he has come back, but the other is still there, and they have had some encounters. They will surely be having a match against each other.

Most fans are now aware that there is lots of television footage that can be seen on a computer. We are talking about online wrestling clips. It is great to be able to keep up with what is going on by using the net.

WWE and TNA of course has much film to be viewed via their site. They can also be watched on youtube and various other vid sites. Youtube allows their clips to be embedded and this makes it so various sites can use the free wrestling videos.

There are so many classics out there, it is not just new stuff. In fact, the majority of free wrestling videos online are of the older variety. There are matches from all over the world.

Don't forget about all the great interviews and angles, also. From today's stuff along with older NWA, AWA, WCW, ECW and then all the things from around the world in places like Japan and Mexico.

Pro wrestling is just a click or so away. People can view it on handheld devices, also. It really is amazing.

The most exciting thing is to see it live in person or on tv, especially the pay per view events, but it is good to also be able to see people like John Cena and AJ Styles on a monitor.

Technology is only going to get better, so who knows what will come about next.

SIN CARA INFO

Sin Cara is the latest wrestling sensation in the WWE. We will take a look at some of his background and give some Sin Cara information here in this post.

Sin Cara used to wrestle as Mistico in Mexico. He is 28 years old. He was a huge star in the lucha libre CMLL federation. Mistico was the main fan favorite there for a period of time.

He is known for his high flying wrestling moves.

His real name is believed to be Ignacio Almanza.

He is the son of former luchadore Dr. Karonte.

Sin Cara was trained by his father and Tony Salazar.

He feuded with Volador, Jr.

There was a hit comic book in Mexico based on Mistico.

He has wrestled in Japan for the Michinoku Pro group and also for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He held the prestigious IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and even defended it against the legendary Jushin Liger.

He has pinned Tyson Kidd and Daniel Bryan in WWE wrestling matches. He also teamed with John Cena to defeat Alex Riley and The Miz.

Sin Cara Unmasked (Mistico sin mascara)

Mexican wrestling superstar Mistico has signed with the WWE and will be going by the name Sin Cara. We are told that "sin cara" translates to "without face." This is a bit interesting because many fans have always been curious about seeing Mistico "sin mascara" - which is to say "without his mask on."

There are some photos of Sin Cara unmasked that have already spread around the internet. There is also a video on youtube of some of the pictures and it has over a million views, so the cat is already out of the bag, even if none of the photos are super clear. So we are going to include some of the pics here below.

We can only wonder how Sin Cara will be promoted in the WWE. Will he go up against Rey Misterio Jr? Will he team up with him? We will have to wait and see. Hopefully we will see Sin Cara performing the exciting moves that have made him famous as the luchadore Mistico in Mexico. Sin Cara's moveset is rather impressive.

Royal Rumble 2011 Surprises

There are rumors spreading across the internet right now in regards to tonight's WWE Royal Rumble 2011 surprises.

1 - Kevin Nash was seen in town and he has his hair dyed dark again. It is looking like he might return tonight in his role as Diesel. We'll have to wait and see for sure. Odds are good though that he won't be returning as Vinnie Vegas.

Nash isn't quite popular with crowds as he once was, but a surprise like this will be exciting news for many wrestling fans.

2 - Mexican wrestling superstar Mistico has signed with WWE. It would be quite the Royal Rumble 2011 surprise to see him show up, but it is always possible.

Mistico is a highly exciting performer and should easily win over fans that like action.

3 - We're not sure. Most do think though that their will be more surprises for tonight's pay per view. We'll have to wait and see.

Wrestling Moves That Hurt

I know some pro wrestlers and one of the questions that they tell me that they get frequently is "what are the wrestling moves that hurt?" Some people want to know which moves would hurt the most if done in a real fight, others are talking about the pain caused in scripted matches.

A lot of this is obvious really. Moves that impact the neck like piledrivers and such could cause death. In Mexico, when a piledriver is done, the person sells it like they have been shot with a gun.

Things like figure four leg locks could break legs. If you use common sense and just take a look at how the moves would be being done and what body parts they are impacting, then you can usually estimate the damage that they would do.

Now others want to know what pain and damage is done in scripted matches with wrestling moves. The object is not to cause any or little pain at all, but this is basically impossible with the way that people want their matches to turn out looking. Still though, a move like a sleeper hold could put someone out for real, but in a worked match, little pressure would be being applied.

Flying maneuvers can be particularly dangerous. Both for those that are doing them and for those that are being landed on.

Basically any wrestling move can hurt if done in a rough way. Though again, something like the sleeper isn't typically going to be done that rough, even if they make it look like so.

One move that doesn't hurt for real or worked matches was when the Bushwhackers would lick their opponents faces. Of course we are talking about physical pain, as this probably did cause some legit emotional pain for some!

John Cena moves list is below. WWE wrestling star John Cena has used various wrestling moves throughout his career. Back when he first had the Prototype character in Ohio Valley Wrestling, the number of moves he had done wasn't as big, of course. Throughout his career he has added more holds and expanded his moveset.

Avatar Movie Budget Cost vs. Gross Record

The budget for the Avatar movie is estimated to have been over 300 million dollars. The full details of the actual Avatar movie budget cost are not available to the public at this time. The film took over five years to make.

In a little over six weeks it has become the highest grossing motion picture of all time, surpassing Titanic. The gross now stands at 1.8 billion dollars. It is worth mentioning that these figures are not adjusted for inflation. James Cameron directed both Avatar and Titanic.

Merchandise related sales have also been good. One product is a video game release. Some fans were looking forward to this game as much as others were looking forward to John Cena games.

The next movie directed by Cameron that is slated to be released is Battle Angel, which is based around a comic series by Yukito Kishiro.

Captain Lou Albano dies - wrestler, manager, actor - dead at 76

Former WWF (now WWE) performer Captain Lou Albano has passed away today. The cause of death is not currently known. His real name was Louis Vincent Albano.

He started wrestling in the 1950s. He gained a lot of fame in the 1980s for appearing in Cyndi Lauper's hit music videos and also due to her involvement at wrestling events. MTV and the WWF had a partnership to cross-promote at the time.

He went on to get into acting appearing in shows such as Miami Vice and for The Super Mario Brothers Super Show.

He liked to wear Hawaiian shirts and rubber bands around his beard.

Red Sox Tigers Brawl Video Shows Youkilis and Porcello

Kevin Youkilis was hit by a pitch thrown by Rick Porcello during Tuesday's baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers. The hitter then charged the mound and engaged in a bit of rasslin' style action against the pitcher. Both of the team benches and bullpens then cleared onto the field.

Both players were then ejected from the game. Future suspensions may be handed down for the players.

Boston manager Terry Francona was also later ejected from the game after arguing with an umpire. The Red Sox won by a score of 7 to 5.

Also let go was diva Candice Michelle. She is a former women's champion. She is known as the Go Daddy girl from the controversial Super Bowl commercials. She does the Candywrapper and the Candylicious.

Donald Trump Buys Raw - WWE Monday Night

On tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw television program on the USA channel, Vince McMahon announced that Donald Trump had purchased the show. Vince said he will remain Chairman. Donald indicated that he would be there next week and the broadcast would not have any commercials.

Who knows where they will take this storyline. Trump seems to like to be on tv in any way that he can.

It was also interesting to see Goldest appear with Hornswoggle.

Derrick Rose gang sign photo controversy stats are here and the young man has issued an apology. A photo of him has circulated the internet. The photo depicts him flashing a gesture which upset some individuals.

Rose has issued a statement saying it was done at a party while in college as a joke and that he does not endorse gang culture and urges young people to stay away from them. He is a good person by all accounts and this story should soon be forgotten.

I've seen that commercial for the new John Cena 12 Rounds movie. Once again he is trying to save a kidnapped lady. Looks like a good movie though. Maybe Cena will do some of his wrestling moves, like maybe a deathvalleydriver.

Still can't believe Andrew "Test" Martin is dead. Has the cause of death been known yet? It keeps being shown how dangerous it is to become wrestlers.
